Our original logo appears below.  Some people love it.  Many more prefer our new logo pictured at the top left of your screen.  We were originally appealing to all pet owners, thus the cat, rabbit, dog, bird, horse, pig, turtle, snake, gerbil and even a fish in a big race to the site, stretching the words along with them.  As much as we loved the logo, there were too many complaints: "the words were hard to read", "why a horse?", "a pig - honestly!", "focus on dogs and cats!". 

So, this is what we did, and we hope you like the new logo launched on October 9, 2006.  We feel it is attractive to dog and cat owners, but also appeals to a world wide stage, fitting our motto - "it's a pet's world".  It resembles the earth a bit too, don't you think? We still welcome all of you other pet owners, but the facts are that dog and cat owners love dogs and cats.

So here we are.  A lot has happened in the years since we originally started this company.  There was an internet bust and then another tremendous growth in the web.  We have changed in what we offer as well.  We now want to focus on our pet picture contest, where visitors choose the best pictures for a prize; our pet products page where you will see why web purchases are growing so quickly; and the directory where we are building a "one-stop shop" for finding everything you need from the day you decide you want a pet (breeders) to taking care of one (veterinarians, dog walkers, etc).  We are also proud of our Learning Center which we are continuing to build day after day.
