Whenever a dog dies, as part of our family, it is a troubling time for all.  I have found a book that helps us cope and would like to enthusiastically give my support to this book.  It is called Dog Heaven.  Click the link to see the book on Amazon. (There is also a Cat Heaven book.)

It is really a children's book, but I have recommended it for an adult friend who lost a beloved pet.  It allows you to sit back and think about how it is truly possible - perhaps even likely - that there is a special place for dogs after their life on Earth.  Whether you believe that or not, the book will do a great job of helping you to remember the things dogs love while on Earth. You can sit there alone or with your kids to reflect and often laugh or cry about those memories.

This is a book I would highly recommend for those with children, or adults whose only children are the dogs themselves!
